Training in osteopathy
In 2017, Sara Beauregard graduated from college Montmorency in a technical program in physiotherapy. She already has 5 years of experience in a private clinic.
Curious and committed, she is now deepening her knowledge by moving towards a field that has interested her for a long time, training in osteopathy, which she gain some interests while receiving osteopathic sessions.

The holistic approach
from the clinic
The majority of people who consult a physiotherapist with an osteopathic approach have pain in the back, neck or in the joints (shoulders, knees, ankles, etc.). These pains can be caused either by an accident, a fall, a surgical scar or repetitive movements. Sometimes they appear for no reason.
Here are conditions that are regularly encountered in the clinic:
- Tendinitis and bursitis
- Numbness
- Headache and migraine
- Osteoarthritis
- Fibromyalgia
- Fatigue and stress
- Sports injuries
- Sinusitis, allergy and asthma
- Digestion problem: constipation, diarrhea, bloating, reflux, etc.
- Menstrual pain
- Symptoms of menopause
- Conditions surrounding pregnancy
- Conditions in babies and children (colic, stiff neck, ear infections, etc.)
The goal is to treat the tissue restrictions that manifest themselves in the spine, pelvis, organs and nervous system. After treatment, well-being will be felt in the painful region but also overall. For example, sleep and energy improve after treatment. In the next article, we will talk about low back pain and sciatica.
