R elieve lower back muscle tension

First, you will need 2 tennis balls which you will tie together using tape or you can put the balls in a sock and close with a knot at each end. We want the 2 balls to be close together.

Tennis balls

On your back, lying on a comfortable mat with your knees bent, feet on the mat, place the balls behind your back, one ball to the right and the other to the left of your spine, at the same height as your waist.

Bend the knees
Moved very slightly from left to right

Knees bent, moved very slightly from left to right for 20 repetitions for each level.

Next, raise the balls 5 cm (2 inches)

in order to mobilize the middle of the lumbar spine and then another 5 cm (2 inches) to increase the mobility of the junction between the dorsal and lumbar spine which is a transition zone.

Then another 5 cm (2 inches)

The main goal of this exercise is to mobilize one vertebra in relation to another and to relieve muscle tension in the lower back. Important: this exercise must not increase your pain and must remain very light in discomfort to a maximum of 3/10.
